245. "New York from Jersey City, New Jersey". 25x16. The bay with ships and steam boats; in the blue distance the spires of the city. (Awarded to F. Falkland, New York).
344. "Twilight on the Kennebec. 30x20. The western sky is still glowing in the rays of the setting sun. In the foreground is a vessel lying in the shadow. The river stretches across the picture. (Awarded to W. H. Wheeler, Lynnn, Mass.)
