Jr.); Inscribed lower left (in pencil): Lane - / Hooper- / Stevens - / First sketch made on our cruise. Taken from our boat in the early forenoon of a beautiful day, lying north of Owl's Head on our approach from Rockland; Inscribed in drawing (in pencil): white / red.
